Two HPM SUVs Achieve Highest Safety Ratings from ASEAN NCAP

The All New Honda HR-V and All New Honda BR-V produced by PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) received the highest safety ratings in the ASEAN NCAP (New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asia) program. The award was presented by representatives of NCAP & MIROS (Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research) in Nusa Dua, Bali, Saturday (15/10/2022).

Yusak Billy, Business Innovation and Sales Marketing Director of PT HPM expressed his gratitude to the ASEAN NCAP for testing the safety features of Honda products through very strict procedures and standards.

The All New Honda HR-V and All New Honda BR-V are the two newest products from Honda that have won the highest safety rating of five (5) stars from the ASEAN NCAP program.

The All New Honda HR-V achieved a total score of 81.38 out of 100. While the All New Honda BR-V achieved a total score of 77.02 out of 100.

To note, the two Honda SUV models have been equipped with Honda Sensing technology to guide the driving system.

This system uses a front wide view camera which is located on the inside of the car’s windshield to provide alertness in driving conditions to conditions around vehicles such as cars, motorcycles and pedestrians.

This technology also provides warnings and supports drivers in avoiding and reducing the level of accident risk.

Both are also equipped with various other high-level safety features such as; Honda LaneWatch, Multi-angle Rearview Camera, Walk Away Auto Lock, Front Passenger & Rear Seat Belt Reminder, and Rear Seat Reminder.
